Valletta Collection - 101 Apt 5

Highly recommend for a great stay in Valletta. Positive: Excellent location, renovated apartment with AC and beautiful views from rooftop terrace Negative: The kitchen requires a few more utensils, glassware etc to make it perfect for cooking at home which we had to do at times with young kids.

Excellent for two couples Positive: Fantastic location on the main road in city center, nice big terrace, close to everything by short walk. Apartment well equipped; everything was excellent Negative: The second room was on the upper floor accessible only by the main stairs (need to exit the apartment to access). This could be a problem with young children but not for us since we were two couples and a baby.

Good location, nice place to stay. Positive: Location was great (although steep roads around it which could be tricky if less mobile). Beds were very comfortable, apartments were clean and toiletries provided. Terrace was a lovely space to use overlooking the sea. Negative: The Penthouse apartment is actually 2 separate apartments with separate doors to access both from the communal corridor, one on the 4th floor, one on the 5th floor. The terrace is only accessible via the bedroom on the 5th floor so not easily available for all staying there unless going through the bedroom on the 5th floor, which is not always convenient.

We loved Malta. Positive: The location was excellent and the top terrace was great for an evening drink before going out. We were with our daughter and her family, so the separation by staircase was good for us and their privacy. There are no bulky keys to worry about as access is by code. Negative: The shower room upstairs was very close to the bed and the bath mat was right beside the bed but still would get wet when the shower was in use. Also no mirror in the room, only in the toilet or a shaving mirror in the shower.
